Just finishing up some D9P quilts for the Children's Hospital. Used 10" layer cake. Your fabrics would be great. I'd suggest a center block be another pink, or lime, or orange. Makes a finished block 30" Only need four blocks to make a 60" quilt. Sew a 9-patch, cut through the center of the block in both directions and rotate the pieces.
