I always said I would never make a mini quilt. What is the point of spending time and energy to make something that basically has no real use? Boy, was I wrong. I dug into my scrap box this weekend and put together a mini quilt! Yes, I really surprised myself
So, my thoughts on my mini quilt experience? It was such fun to make, which is surely what quilting is all about; I got the satisfaction of finishing the flimsy in a day (with house chores thrown in); it helped me find my quilting mojo which has been missing for some time now; and the bonus at the end of it is that I now have something bright and beautiful to decorate the bare walls on my new sewing room! There's no doubt, I will definitely be making many more mini quilts!
