Moxiesmom

I thought if I made a big block quilt it would be faster and easier, but now the quilting has me stumped. First the color thread, I was thinking dark on the back and light on the front, but of course the bottom shows up in the lines, and I was going to stitch in the ditch and the rows do not line up much so there will be a lot of starting and stopping. This is the hardest quilt to finish and I have to get it done this weekend. I don't do meandering, only walking foot quilting.
So if you guys have any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.
