Question Hand quilting design help!

Hi, I'm coming to y'all for design help...
I found this following blog when I was researching big stitch hand quilting with perle cotton. I love the colors from that quilt. http://www.rebeccamaedesigns.com/hom...hand-quilting/

I recently finished a top and plan to hand quilt with perle. I am attaching photos to see.

But I need help. I have tried drawing out the blocks on paper, tracing my finger over a picture of 4 blocks together, going over the designs in my mind...

I've contemplated a straight line, 1/4" from the seams on the white triangles.
Or on the white triangles: making a curved line from each point around the triangle (instead of straight).
But those just seam too boring....! I have a variety of perle colors, so I can do whatever. I'm just too close to the project to be decisive on it.
Thanks for any help!
