Oh goodness, Conchalea! Way too young for something like that to happen. I pray she continues to do better with each day. A quilt made by mother's hands would be wonderful. No matter how old we become, we always need our mom when illness strikes. Good job on the bargains and planning of your purchases.
Thanks, Teen. Yes, all during her stay in the hospital I’ve been thinking how she shouldn’t be the one with the TIA. Much more likely to be me, just from age group alone. I’ve been doing a lot of ‘stress-sewing,’ which is why I managed to finish the Lattice Garden quilt in 8 days! But it is only 45” X 55”, so the small size helped with the speed.
