You could try re-titling your thread 'Scraps to Give Away' just to make sure people who want scraps will click.
I would suggest you list your scraps on ReUseIt, which is a yahoo group, if you have one operating in your city. If not, try calling any of your local quilt guilds. I would bet they'd be delighted to have your scraps. Whatever you do, don't throw them away!
