Default Baby Shower Gift

I have a baby shower to attend next month, so I used it as an excuse to make a quilt. This is a little larger than I anticipated, but better too big than too small. The quilt is for a baby boy and I hope the family likes it even though it's loaded with florals. I picked fabrics that I wanted to work with and figured the parents wouldn't turn it away, lol.

I used all 30's reproduction fabric from Joann's for the prints and I think Kona Snow for the white and a light blue Kona solid. The backing is a plaid that was in the perfect color scheme to match. The binding is some Christmas stripe that I had leftover and I thought it matched the personality of the quilt.

This quilt was my inspiration:

And this was what I made:

I just did straight line quilting with my walking foot and echoed some of the seams.

Thanks for looking!
