One of my first quilts I made I put it in a local quilt show. It wasn't near half nice in the construction of it. Imagine my shock when it won Viewer's Choice! Everyone loved the colors and the way I set my blocks (wonky was just beginning to be popular then). If I had decided to let my not so great sewing skills determine my entry I would have missed out on a great experience. I remember seeing many quilters look at my quilt and point to the places I knew I messed up. I hope I gave others the thought that If she can enter that, I can enter mine.
