Thank you so much for this information. I take them totally apart after sewing for a few hours and when I am going to quit. I clean under the bobbin every time I change a bobbin. Both of these machines are over 5 years old and they sew beautifully. So thankful for all the good advice. I took them apart this morning and oiled them after having cleaned them. So happy for all the wisdom on this board.

Oil goes on the race for oscillators, and under the plastic bobbin case for drop-in bobbin machines.
