Do any of you remember around 2002, 2003 when WalMart removed the fabric sections from all their stores?
It wasn't that long ago. I had just started my foray into quilting and had only made a couple of quilts when that started so it had to be around 2009-2010. My local Walmart never did remove their fabric but they did condense what they carried for a couple of years, then they expanded it to bigger than what it was to begin with. Two other Walmarts in my area have never had much of a fabric/crafts section.
