You know the problems that you had. No one else does. Don't tell your friend, because they won't know and will love that wonderful looking quilt. It will be used and loved, because you made it and they know you love them enough to do that. Every quilt I make turns out differently than I expected. I give it or use it and move on. Just take the knowledge you gained and apply it to the next quilt. :-)
