Curiously, I just finished one myself a week or so ago (no pictures yet), the second one I've done. Love this pattern. Depending on the fabrics, it truly makes a statement. Actually, I quilted the first And this one in exactly the same manner - SID with a nice solid print fabric on the back. I used a contrasting thread color in the bottom for the printed back which ended up quite attractive and doubles the usefulness of the gift. I did not bind mine as yours nicely shows, but used the "birthing" method, topstitching very close to the edge. A great pattern. Hope this helps.
