It's probably an Asian made model 15. There have been a few reproductions of them since the 1970s, and I think the production has been rather steady ever since. They are often Chinese, but I have read there have been factories set up in India and a few other countries. I havent looked further into it. It's a copy of the later type 15 with the stitch length lever (introduced about 1930 or just before). A red herring to detect reproductions is the feed dog knob on the bed, Singer never introduced that feature. The last batches of 15s were made in the early 1960s and the feed dog drop was a setting screw under the bed. There are lots of Japanese 15 clones too, but they are electric and under other brand names. It takes regular 15x1 needles and class 15 bobbins, easy to find.
