Default Binding question

Seems like I have gotten myself in a bind. I sewed the binding on the front of my quilt and all seems fine except for one corner. When I tried to turn it to the back to sew, it is short for some reason. Either I sewed too far when I approached the corner or started my stitching too high on the fold.

is there any way to correct this? I’m afraid to remove stitches for fear of a hole and I can’t stretch the fabric without distorting the whole corner.

Any help would be appreciated!

thanks,
Renate
