Midarms and Longarms are a big investment. I suggest that you attend a quilt show that will have longarm and midarm vendors and just visit with each of them and try the machines. This is a very important decision and one that is made based on your particular needs. Midarm machines will only quilt up to a certain size so if you are going to be quilting large quilts that is not the machine that you will need.
