This is Steph from Hobbs - hello and thanks for your question.

Our wool can be washed once inside your quilt. No pre-washing please!

We recommend using cold water and a delicate cycle - no heavy agitation or spinning.

You can start the drying process in the dryer, however, only on a delicate, low/no heat setting and this should be for no more than 10 minutes - then hang or block the quilt to dry it the rest of the way.

This is actually how we recommend all quilts be cared for - they’ll hold up better over time.

Happy Quilting,
Steph
