Have you tried our Heirloom Natural with Scrim?
It’s 100% Cotton with a very, very thin Scrim layer that’s been needlepunched into cotton for added stability. The Scrim is only on one side and it doesn’t matter which side you face up or down - it’s personal preference.
It’s soft and drapes well and you can stitch 8-10” apart with this batting.
The 80/20 batting does not include a Scrim layer - the 80% Cotton fiber and 20% Poly fiber are blended together in these products.

I have looked at it (online) since I posted this. Do any online dealers sell it by the yard? I find that if I buy cuts, I end up with a lot of waste. I know I can piece it together but I'd rather not have to any more than necessary.
