I know you said you didn't like Hobbs 80/20 batting. However, Marshall Dry Goods sells Hobbs 80/20 sized 96" x 30 yards for $120 + shipping. The blurb below the picture says it is 70 pounds, but I can lift it, so it is not even close to 70 pounds. It does need to be quilted more closely than some of the other batts, though.
