So this was my first every quilt. Everything about it, from the fabric, to the batting, and the thread was recycled/re purposed from other projects or thrift stores. I did not have a sewing machine at the time, so everything is hand pieced and hand quilted.

This bookshelf quilt is my current project. I am hoping to finish this summer. Again, all the scraps are recycled/from thrift stores or old material. I did have to buy the batting and the backing fabric to get enough of the same color.
