Agree with Molly..smooth, great tension so perfect stitch..easy to operate, light-weight but not so much so that you could not use it as a primary machine for all but the machine quilting of large items. Mine was 4120QDC.. I think the newer models are the same with a jazzed up face plate. This model never got the attention it deserves but its a lot of machine for its price.
