Hexified quilt w/ a modern twist.
I have been working on this quilt for a while and just got it finished. The main focus fabric has been "hexified" This quilt finishes 83 x 93. It was completely assembled and quilted w/ a walking foot on my domestic machine in a QAYG technique. The focus fabric reminded me of the 1970's in color, so my inspiration for this is a close up view of a 70's beaded curtain. This is a double sided quilt, this first post will have some shots of the front and the next post will show the back. I love how this turned out both front and back. (oh and no pattern it was out of my head)
