Yes, I would use that technique on the binding again. I did two rows of decorative stitching on the binding before applying it to the quilt, so the decorative stitches are on the back as well. I used a fall panel as backing, so the hanging is reversible if I want to hang it the other way. The back is not chenille.

Hobbykat1955 ~ Thanks for showing your hearts and sharing that one panel would work. I'd like to see more samples of using just one panel. I wouldn't have thought applique would work either. Nice job.
