Dina, I’ve done a big bargello. I thought I’d never get it done since they seem to go on forever. They are so exciting though. Just keep going & before you know it you’ll be clear across it. You’re working with my favorite colors so I’m anxious to watch your progress. Then I did a table runner which turned out beautiful. I must be crazy but now I have another bargello pattern I want to do.
Thanks for your encouragement. I think Bargello quilts are addictive. I am not sure how many I have made, and I did make a king sized one a few years ago. My sister tells me I am the only person she has ever known who made more than one Bargello.
I think what is slowing me down on this one is that I have to climb up a ladder way more often than I think I ought too...I guess I have gotten shorter or my memory is bad.
I just keep telling myself that it will be worth it. And it will be.
