Such pretty work. I really like the braid on the front door and would imagine your neighbors do, too. The de Jonge will eventually go together and you'll be thrilled and relieved at the same time. I have found that a lot of these patterns recommend cutting out everything first. I never do because somewhere along the line adjustments need to be made, and unless you have an abundance of fabric a precut piece may not quite fit and you find there isn't enough to cut it again.
