I only have one friend who quilts, and we did try to make baby quilts, but it ended up being a disaster! We had the opportunity to make 12 baby quilts for what would have been a "pop-up" type of craft sale. We spent hours gathering and matching up patterns, colors, panels, minky, flannel. We then cut and sewed strips, borders etc. She second guessed every color, seam, binding, backing etc. I kept telling her she was being too critical, but to no avail. The sale came and went, with not one of our quilts done. She kept them all, and eventually finished them, and donated them because she didn't "like" them. We have totally different styles, machines and stashes. I just now know that we are not quilt compatible!!
