Debit card online, from my experience Having my identity stolen NOT a good idea.
Like you I keep a notebook next to my computer with 3 columns for orders, Dated from Where, What , How much.
I place all my order confirmations in a folder in my gmail account...And since I only pay with a credit card, I just go online for totals and etc for all my orders.
