I can't tell if those lay on *top* of the fabric or are woven into it... Either way, this is just awesome.
The black lines are pieces of black wool under the silk held in place by the random quilting. Tags are the outermost stands of wool on the fleece, they're not yet matted together like the interior of the fleece. Thanks.
