I made the first block on Feb 9th....so 4 mos in the making. I had a bolt of fabric for over a year and decided to use it as the focal fabric...I have just under 3/4 yd left so I'm pretty pleased I used it up...
Outside buying more WOW and yellow, this was done entirely with stash fabrics. My LA gal did E2E over blocks then a curl design in mini border. I did FMQ curls on my domestic in applique border. Finished it off with flange binding and a little lace trim inspired by the pattern name.. Applique is turned edge, machine sewed. Learned so many new techniques while doing this. There are a lot of First's in this thing for me. So glad this is done...Thanks for looking...
