did u call the Fiskar customer service? Their rotary cutters have a lifetime warranty, they've replaced several of mine, no questions asked & I didn't have to return the broken ones. They've also replaced the spring in my Fiskar nippers, sending me several springs for future use.
I thought they were guaranteed for lifetime and you are the only one mentioning that so far.
