Color selections for a quilt is the hardest part for me when it comes to making a quilt. I grew up in the 50's & took Home Economics & every time we sewed something colors had to match/go together. So, if I made a skirt, the blouse had to have one of the colors in the skirt in it so it would "match". So for me to select a blue that would go next to a green is so hard for me to do. However, that being said, I love quilts that don't match in color.
