Thank you, everyone! Christine...I've never heard of a presser foot like that. I will admit, I am completely ignorant o the many presser feet on my machine and really only use about 4 different ones. I'm going to look that up.. I should make it a goal to learn each one but I'd rather just keep on keeping on.. Lol!
I've assembled part of section 2 and will likely not get anymore completed for a couple of weeks. I leave on Sunday and will be gone but I'm taking some of the applique with me to work on while gone...here is what I have so far....
