This is what I do too! When I first retired I went through my closet to see what I could put on my shelves. Gosh.....too much! Now I'm looking at a couple of patterns/fabric that I purchased in the early 90's. I may make one of them as it's a quilt. The other is a jacket. I have all the fabric for the jacket. I'm not sure I have backing for the quilt.
