There is a product called Un-Do. It is no toxic and works on anything to remove glue. I removed stuck photos to glass with it and it did not harm the photos. It has been used for years by professionals but now available to anyone. I buy it at WalMart. I keep several bottles of it handy. No lingering smell or oily yuk like the Goo Gone.
