A crowd pleaser in my family are lazy cabbage rolls. I do mine in a casserole dish in the oven but they can be done in a slow cooker. Just find a good cabbage roll stuffing recipe and instead of rolling the leaves, the leaves are shredded and some put on the bottom, then put in the filling layer and layer more shredded cabbage on top.
I second this! It also works good with peppers in place of cabbage. Good way to use the "end of the garden" peppers that are too small to stuff.
