I like the way your paper pieced blocks seem to float over the surface of the quilt. Your panel pieces are well integrated and at first glance seem to be another layer of the overall pattern offering an excellent contrast in scale. It did take me a second to actually see the detail in the panel pieces, but I like that effect because it draws me further into the quilt and makes me want to keep looking. This is an excellent quilt design and I think you used those panel pieces to great effect.
