I made a throw quilt for my husband out of a panel. Although it wasn't very hard to add borders I had no clue how to quilt it. I have never done fmq, only sitd or topstitching using the seam lines as guidelines. Since there weren't many seam lines I had to try something different. So I tried crosshatching. It wasn't easy for me and I only did a fair job but it certainly didn't feel like cheating!
