What is cheating about it. I have a quilt I made from a panel that no one knows. It was from many years ago and was a sampler, I cut it up and hand quilted around each design in a panel. I came out great, looks like I hand appliqued and even my friends didn't know the difference until one of them said I have a panel like that, I reminder her we bought it together.
