Lovely quilt! I think you can start entering shows now. Regarding your photos, chances are the file sizes are too large. There are several ways you can reduce the file size. I have my camera set to make the images a smaller file size (less pixels) from the get go so I don't have to resize but there are some hints in the QB help center, here is a link.

You want to reduce the pixel size. A favorite way I do it when I have taken pics with my phone and want to upload is to use MS Word. Tute here:
