Darling! Love those fabric choices...my suggestion is the same as others...vertical stitching to emphasize the board effect. Maybe some stitching to look like fur...stitching going in the direction of how the fur would go. I don't think you'd need a lot, because the fabrics already suggest that. Have fun!
