I know quite a few who have left due to over-moderation and rules that they break that they didn't even realize existed that they have gotten handslapped for. I did once but ended up coming back and lurking more than participating.
we are not over-moderated.
some members are just deliberately under-educated or just don't care what is and is not acceptable here.
