I tend to do my own pedicure and have found that preparing your nails is key to keeping the polish on. I use OPI Chip Skip on my nails first to get rid of all oils etc, then I use Orly Bonder. Then 2 coats of polish (I like OPI, Sally Hansen, China Glaze and Orly). As my top coat I use Orly Sec n'Dry and finally after the polish has been set for several hours Orly Won't Chip. I use a coat of Won't Chip once a week. My polish lasts almost a month and needs to only be replaced because of growing out. I usually do not wear polish on my finger nails ( too much gardening, boating and cleaning lol) and just keep them filed fairly short and buffed. For a special occasion I have gotten a gel polish manicure in a very light pink or french manicure at the salon. Those tend to last quite a while.
