Crumbing is so fun, you don't have to be perfect and you can add them together any way you want. I must say they are my favorites to make. At the rate I am going every quilt in my house will be done in crumbs.
A couple of years ago one of the ladies in our quilt club was looking for scraps not for quilts for dogs, but to fill old pillowcases to make dog beds, for a dog shelter. That got rid of a BUNCH of scraps.
