Glad to see you got the 6600P. I've had mine for 2 years now and have not had to have it serviced yet.
I have had my 6600 for 5 years. I take it to my dealer who has become a friend about every 18 months and he takes it apart and cleans it for me. If you will look under the bobbin, you will see a little hole. It looks like a piece of gray lint. I cleaned it so good once and took that out. Mind you, it was hard to do. Well, it seems that is the little piece of stuff that does not come out because it is a built in factory oil piece.....
So, I am very careful not to dig to far. I love the machine and have really worked it out.
Enjoy, and do not clean too hard....
