We recently updated the art in our bedroom, so I thought I should make a new quilt to complete the change. I decided on Batiks and a simple pattern since you know, it's a king size quilt. About halfway through, I started second guessing myself thinking the fabrics were to busy. I put it aside for a bit; it was hard to lay out to see the placement I wanted since I don't have a lot of floor space. I finally just decided to do it in sections and finish it up. Yes, it was a bear to wrestle all that fabric around, but I am happy with the end result. I just quilted it with wavy lines using my walking foot and also made matching shams with the scraps.
