Yes, the snap on feet work on a 401.
The roller foot does not. As I thought, it's not tall enough. I haven't figured out how that is supposed to work on the 778 (T&S), but not the 401. The zipper foot from the 778 is the same height as the roller foot. When I next dig out the 778, I'll figure it out.
