I did not know about the hairspray trick to hold the chalk on. That is always a problem with it bouncing off when using a longarm. I will be trying that and be able to use the chalk more often than I do......but I would NEVER have pressed my piece while it still had the chalk on it!!! Oh my!! Thank you for posting this. Now I know I can do this also if I need to! I am curious though if your chalk (pounce) is the iron off kind or is it the kind that you just brush off?

It is not the iron off kind (I have that in white - it's called ultimate pounce). The hairspray is a great "invention" because it does come off really quickly - I gave one a quick shake to get off the excess chalk, and my design was pretty much gone!
