I'm much less experienced than you with only 1+ years of quilting/sewing experience (started after retirement) and have made several totes, duffels, home decor items and am currently working on my 5th quilt. I've completed a few simple lap quilts, an over-sized Bonnie Hunter ORL mystery (there's a great thread on here with lots of participants & pictures) and am in the process of binding a modern queen for my adult son. I'm still in the "I want to try everything" mode and plan to try a collage and an EPP (La Passacaglia) in the near future. After the ORL I feel I can accomplish anything

I see you like scrappy, Bonnie Hunter style quilting. And paper piecing - where did you take classes for that technique? I'm interested as that will be my next big challenge. What library are you teaching at? I've been to the Crazy Cousin a few times but since I'm a little closer to Richmond, I usually head that way vs. F'burg. I certainly will be up your way the end of September for the Expo!

Honestly, I'm continuously inspired by the gorgeous finished work shared on this forum - that, and the incredible amount of information shared by so many talented, veteran quilters has been invaluable to me. Always admiring and learning on here - I hope you enjoy the forum just as much. Be sure to join in the great discussions and post pictures - we all love pictures here!
