Thank you for the link, Rhonda K. I ended up spending an hour viewing tutorials from the West Michigan Quilters. One of the presenters has a shop less than 60 minutes away from me. More importantly each tutorial gave hints to be a better quilter and to keep the process fun by using more efficient techniques. Yes, products were mentioned but they were those that quilter used and found helpful. The tutorial on free motion quilting gave so much information about needle size and thread that I will view it again, Mary Smallegan was the instructor.
