Thank you for the kind responses. A bit of the "back story" on this fabric. I purchased this fabric in 2016 when Hancocks went out of business. They had fabric at 90% off and I bought all they had... 8 yards, thinking of a stack and whack quilt or a backing. The cost was $1.00 per yard. The 42 strips I cut took about 3 yards, so $3.00 invested in fabric. I could not decide on whether I wanted that bright fabric and how that bright fabric would look in a rug, so when I started prepping for cutting, noticed the "wrong" side was more muted and softer. I just used the wrong side for the outside of the strips.
I am going to place it next to my bed on carpet so it won't slide around.
I understand that to stop these rugs from sliding on hard floors, you can get the rubbery type kitchen shelf liner and simply stitch it to the underside. My next one will be for in front of my kitchen sink.....just got to find the right fabric again!
