Queen RV mattresses often are 6” shorter. This method would be most helpful. I’ve taken a Queen fitted sheet and sewed a 3” tuck across from side to side, pretty much in the center of the sheet. Then I cut the excess off but leave enough to make a flat fell (or French seam) seam to encase the raw edges.
What a great idea! I might make that tuck and seam closer to one end however, so I didn't aggravate my hips. Closer to the head, under pillows, or closer to the foot, either one would keep that seam out of contact with my body! Love the idea.
